Welcome to The Wilkinson Highland & Clog Dancing Team Website

We are a Highland and Clog Dancing group based in Monkseaton, North Tyneside, England. We perform in all types of displays and festivals.

The Wilkinson Highland and Clog Dancing Team was formed in 2001 (formerly The Wilkinson School of Dance).

Emma, Lorna and Joy Howe teach Highland Dancing for competitions, displays and British Association of Teachers of Dance exams (BATD). Northumbrian Clog Dancing is taught by Emma, Lorna, Joy and Ann Wilkinson. Emma, Lorna and Joy are fully qualified teachers and members of BATD. Emma has reached Fellowship level in Highland and Scottish National dancing and is an SOBHD adjudicator. Lorna and Joy are Fellows of the Highland branch and Members of the Scottish National branch. Ann has a Diploma of Education qualification and a wide range of teaching experience. In addition they have passed police checks enabling them to work with children. Emma, Lorna and Joy, between them, have won championships, trophies and awards for Highland National and Northumbrian Clog Dancing.
